Riot Games introduces numerous skins and cosmetics at regular intervals in League of Legends and there are thousands of skins in the game. While there skin lines that portray sci-fi and cyberpunk-ish feels, the Bee skins are by far the most funniest and silliest collections put out by Riot Games. What began with a goofy skin for Singed, turned into a full-fledged collection adored by the player base.
The official lore of the Bee skins reads, "Bzzz. Bzzz bzzz bzzz. Bzzz! Bzzz, bzz, bzz bzz bzz. Bzzz.." Additionally, even the name of the skins standout, winning the hearts of fans and players.
All in all, the Bee skins in League of Legends are extremely adorable and there are a total of nine skins.
Bee Skins and their Universe in League of Legends
Bees is a series of alternate universe/future skins in League of Legends. The collection is set in a world where champions are bees, dressed as bees, or beekeepers. The first skin to be introduced under this theme was Beekeeper Singed (1350 RP) in 2017 and till date, he is the only Beekeeper champion in the collection.
Beekeeper Singed's description says that at first Singed was not certain about wanting to be a master beekeeper. "But the moment he put on the protective suit, he knew it was destiny. Nowadays he can be found tending his hives, eating honey, or flipping any hapless wanderers that stop to gaze upon his work," adds Riot Games.

Interestingly, the Beemo skin in the League of Legends Bee skin collection references the opening soliloquy of the nunnery scene of Hamlet: "To be, or not to be." Additionally, it is speculated that the bee skins may be connected to the Pool Party universe since Beemo was spotted in the splash art of the 2018 Pool party skins released by Riot Games.
The Bee skins were also a part of a massive fundraiser for the humanitarian efforts in the Russo-Ukrainian War. Riot Games announced that it raised a total of $5.4 Million USD in funds to support humanitarian efforts in Eastern Europe with the help of its benevolent player base. Riot equally distributed the funds – $1.8 Million USD each – to three nonprofit organizations: International Medical Corps, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The sales of the Bee skin line in League of Legends was a major contributor apart from other battle passes in other titles including Valorant.
