Valorant is a popular first-person shooter blending traditional gunplay with unique abilities to deliver a competitive shooting experience. The game is Riot Games' successful venture into the First Person Shooter (FPS) world, a publisher known for their MOBA game League of Legends. Valorant is available on multiple platforms, however, the question remains, is Valorant on Steam?
Is Valorant on Steam?
Riot Games has made the FPS available on its own downloadable client, the Epic Games Store and the Xbox app on PC. Unfortunately, Valorant is currently not available on Steam. Riot Games has not released any official statement on whether Valorant will ever be made available on Steam. However, as mentioned before, Valorant is available on a number of different platforms. The easiest way to get Valorant, and other Riot titles, is by downloading the official Riot client.
How to download Valorant using the Riot client
Downloading Valorant using the Riot client is easy. Note that you'll need a Riot account to play Valorant.
Head to the official Valorant website by clicking here.
Click on the 'Play Free' button.
Login using your Riot Games account or create a new account if you don’t have one.
You’ll be directed to download the Valorant installer.
The installer will initially download Riot’s anti-cheat called Vanguard.
After the installation is done, you can now open either the Riot Client or Valorant directly from the start menu or the desktop shortcut.
How to download Valorant from Epic Games Store
Riot Games has also made Valorant and other Riot titles available on the Epic Games Store.
Open the Epic Games store and search for Valorant.
If you need to, download the app from the official Epic Games store. Navigate to the website by clicking here.
Click on the ‘Get’ button to begin downloading Valorant and Vanguard anti-cheat.
After the game is downloaded, you can start playing Valorant from the desktop shortcut or from the start menu.

Navigate to the Xbox app website for Windows by navigating here.
Scroll down and click ‘Download The App’.
Open the Xbox app and login or create an account if you don’t have one.
Search for ‘Valorant’ and download the game.
