These cosmetic items were removed from the Item Shop in a mere five days after going live.
Epic has not made official announcements regarding the skin’s return but it has brought back numerous skins during the Winterfest 2023 event.

Fortnite has gone through numerous celebrity collaborations in the past and we can surely expect to see more as we go through the months. Although there have been several celebrity outfits in the game, only a few have been as popular as the Travis Scott outfit, which garnered the attention of many gamers and fans of the artist.

While the outfit initially launched in 2020, it has not been spotted in the Item Shop ever since which has left many fans wondering when they can get their hands on it again. Without further ado, let’s delve into it.

Is the Travis Scott Outfit Coming Back to Fortnite?

This skin was first released in Chapter 2 Season 2 of Fortnite, as part of the Icon series and it could be purchased for 1500 V-Bucks individually or for 2,500 V-Bucks as part of the Astronomical Bundle.

Astronomical Bundle.

Apart from the regular version of Travis, you can also get a T-3500 Variant which gives him a menacing Terminator-like look. Unfortunately, this item was only listed for a mere five days before it was taken down, which meant many fans missed the opportunity to purchase it.

At the time of writing, Epic Games has not made any official announcements regarding the return of this specific skin, however, with the Winterfest 2023 event, we have seen the return of various skins in the game such as the Jujustu Kaisen skins, Remix-style skins, etc. Furthermore, there have been leaks indicating that the Travis Scott skin was part of recent testing that the devs were implementing on the Item Shop. he was part of a collection of rare cosmetics such as Rue, World Warrior, Kratos, etc.

These leaks were brought to the attention of players by reliable leaker @FortnitePV2 on X who is known for his Item Shop leaks. While these leaks seem plausible, you have to remember that Epic Games has not made any confirmation regarding this Item Shop Test, so please take this with a grain of salt.

To answer the question of why this item has a very short showcase on the Item Shop, several fans seem to believe that Epic had intentionally removed them from the store following the Astroworld Festival Tragedy on 8th November 2021. Since 9th November none of his in-game cosmetics made a return to the shelves again. Some fans also seem to believe that Travis has been banned from the game to avoid further controversies.
