Alex is one of the two main characters of Minecraft, but Giant Alex is a 12-block creature with a bloodied Alex skin. She does not do much in terms of interacting with the players but if you get too close to her, your game is likely to crash. Giant Alex is a result of a fan-made creation within OptiFine so you will not see her if you are running an unmodded version of the game.
How to summon Giant Alex
If you want to summon Giant Alex in Minecraft, you need to select version OptiFine 1.12.2 in the game launcher and set the difficulty to Peaceful. Change your settings to 6 chunks render and 0.2 fog distance.
You also need to enter the seed “7778749381209293789578” when you generate the game world.
When you spawn in the world you just created, you will be able to see Giant Alex staring menacingly. Like we mentioned earlier, you do not want to get too close to Giant Alex or your game might crash and there is no workaround aside from maintaining distance from her.
How to install OptiFine
As we mentioned earlier, you need to have OptiFine which allows you to edit textures and even boost your frames per second (FPS). Here’s how you can download the mod:
Head to: https://optifine.net/downloads
Download OptiFine
Download Minecraft Forge from: https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/
Search %AppData% in your Windows Start Menu and navigate to: /Roaming/.minecraft/bin
Open minecraft.jar in Winrar (Download WinRAR at: https://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0)
Delete META-INF folder in minecraft.jar
Extract all files from the downloaded forge rar file into minecraft.jar
Open Minecraft normally
A box will pop out on the left bottom corner of the game screen.
After initialization, you should see Minecraft Forge, Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft Coder Pack installed in your Minecraft.
Hover over the Forge menu and click on the Open Folder icon
Open the mods folder from the menu and add any mod files (.jar) to the folder (choose the OptiFine .jar file)
