How to Preload Overwatch 2 on All Platforms
Overwatch 2 is set to go live on 4th October and a preload is expected to go live on 2nd October. Blizzard Entertainment revealed that Overwatch (2016) will be taken down on 2nd October and the servers will not be available for 27 hours. The preload for Overwatch 2 is expected to go live on the same day to help players immediately log in to the game at launch and experience all of the new content. How to Preload Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 will be available for download on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you were able to run Overwatch on your PC, you should be able to run the sequel just fine.

A pre-load should be available prior to the release of the game on 2nd October. On PC, the pre-load will be available on the Battle.net store only. The game will be available on Steam or other storefronts. A copy of Overwatch is not necessary to play the game and it is strongly recommended to link your console and PC accounts if applicable to ensure you have all your cosmetics in a single profile.
