How to Get Treasure Tokens in League of Legends

Riot Games decided to create a Southeast Asian server for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics (TFT) after ending a 10-year partnership with Garena late last year. The developer kicked off the new SEA server on 6th January and as part of the migration, also launched a Welcome Event which let players earn Treasure Tokens and Welcome Tokens by completing missions. Here is how you can get Treasure Tokens in League of Legends and what you can use it for.

Treasure Tokens in League of Legends

The Welcome Event kicked off on 13th January and will end on 21st February 2023. Players can play PvP Summoner’s Rift, ARAM (All Random All Mid), TFT and Event gamemodes to earn Objective Points and complete missions. You can get Treasure Tokens in League by completing weekly missions. Head to the ‘Loot’ tab to check out how many tokens you have and use them to unlock an Ultimate Skin of your choice or a random Legendary Skin permanently.  

Note that in order to participate your account must be at least level 5. Each mission will unlock on the given date/time, but will be available to complete until February 21st 2023. There are a total of 4 Weekly Play missions you can complete which will each earn you 25 Treasure Tokens. Each mission involves earning 450 points from playing and winning games. Here is how many points you’ll earn per minute of play for different gamemodes:

Note that Co-op Vs AI games grant 33% as many Objective Points as PvP games. 

While the event ends on 21st February, the Treasure Token shop will be open till 28th February 2023, so make sure you redeem any leftover tokens before the end of next month. You can use your Treasure Tokens to unlock the following:

• Ultimate Skin - 75 tokens

• Legendary Skin Capsule - 25 tokens

• Legendary Little Legend Egg - 25 tokens
