In Valorant, you can show off your quirkiness and your personality by customizing your player card and your player titles in the game. If you are new to the game and are just understanding the cosmetics and personalization of Valorant, all you need to know is that player cards are cosmetic images that are displayed as the background image for a player’s account. You will notice them in three different dimensions in the lobby, on the loading screen, and on the profile where enemies see when they are killed. Additionally, the player card also turns into an avatar or an icon when someone clicks the ‘tab’ to see the leaderboard or the friends list.
Cypher-themed ‘Caught One’ player card is distributed in partnership with Amazon’s Prime Gaming. Here’s how you can claim the free buddy with Prime Gaming this month.
Caught One Player Card: All You Need to Know
Valorant was released in 2020 and since then, the game has constantly catered to its player base, releasing an array of agents, gun cosmetics, player cards, and gun buddies. One such player card that is available through an Amazon Prime Gaming subscription is the ‘Caught One’ player card featuring Cypher.
A fun fact about the player card’s name is that it is literally a Cypher voice line. He says it when an enemy gets caught and revealed by his C - Trapwire. Enemy players who cross Cypher’s tripwire will be tethered, revealed, and concussed after a short period if they do not destroy the device in time.
The Caught One Player Card which is exclusively available through Prime Gaming features an image of Cypher escaping the Astra Gravity Well. If you are a Cypher main you can use it on your profile and also as your calling card in Valorant.
How to claim the Cypher Caught One Player Card?
To claim the Cypher Caught One card, players need to follow the below-mentioned steps:
The first step is to go to the Prime Gaming website and sign in with your Riot Games account.
You will now be redirected to the Priming Gaming page
Here, you will see an “in-game content” pop-up.
Click on the ‘Claim Now’ option to get the player card in your inventory
Now, you should be able to see the Caught One player card in your collection tab in Valorant
However, if you do not currently have a subscription, you will have to subscribe for either the 30-day free trial or a one-month subscription for Prime Gaming. Following this, you can log in with your Riot account and link the two accounts to receive rewards.
Note that this Cypher player card is only available till 25th May 2023.
