Fortnite's metaverse gets another addition, the chaotic loose cannon Jinx. Players can avail the Jinx skin in Fortnite as part of the month long RiotX Arcane event celebrating the release of the animated TV series on Netflix. This is the first time League of Legends is having a crossover outside of Riot's own titles, by featuring the Arcane event in both Fortnite and PUBG Mobile. Along with the Jinx skin, the Fortnite shop will also feature a number of other Jinx-themed cosmetics including a Jinxed Spray and a Jinx’s Dream Monkey Back Bling. The items have been made available in the Fortnite shop starting today, November 5 at 8 am SGT.
How to get League of Legends’ Jinx skin in Fortnite
Like most premium skins in Fortnite, League of Legends fans will be able to get their hands on the new Jinx skin by purchasing it from the Item Shop when it goes live. It doesn’t seem as though there’s a way to get the Jinx skin for free right now. Arcane Jinx costs 1500 V-Bucks. The Jinx cosmetics bundle will include:
Arcane Jinx Outfit
Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe
Jinxed Spray
Jinx’s Dream Monkey Back Bling
Playground (Instrumental) Lobby Track
Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen
Katchoo! Loading Screen
The bundle of cosmetics is available to purchase for 1,800 V-Bucks.
The Epic Games store will also see League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and VALORANT available on the platform for the first time as a result of the collaboration. The Arcane series will be available exclusively on Netflix. Fans can watch it once it launches on 6th November 2021 and can redeem rewards for watching along on Twitch. The series takes place in Piltover and tells the origin stories of several characters from Piltover and Zaun including Jinx, her sister Vi, Caitlyn and Jayce, among others.
