How to Get Double XP in Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a double XP weekend going on right now but it ends today (19th December). If you missed out on the opportunity to grab double XP, there are other opportunities out there to help you earn double XP in the game. While you have the option of waiting for the next double XP weekend, there is also the option of earning double XP tokens that you can consume to boost your experience gains in-game. Here’s a quick guide to help you farm double XP tokens in Modern Warfare 2.

How to earn Double XP Tokens in Modern Warfare 2

The easiest way to get a bunch of Double XP tokens is by completing the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. Here is a list of all the missions that give you tokens: 

• Complete Wetwork for 1 double XP token

• Complete Tradecraft for 1 double weapon XP token

• Complete Close Air for 1 double XP token

• Complete Hardpoint for 1 double weapon XP token

• Complete El Sin Nombre for 1 double XP token

• Complete Dark Water for 1 double weapon XP token

• Complete Hindsight for 1 double XP token

If you have already completed the campaign and want even more double XP tokens, there is no way to get more unless you spend money on them. Currently, there is an “Endowment Bundle” available that can get you one double XP token and a double XP weapon token. If you pre-ordered the Vault Edition of the game, you should also have 10 hours of double XP tokens.

Finally, there are collaborations between Call of Duty and food and beverage (F&B) chains for additional XP tokens. There are special Call of Duty combos available at Little Caesars, Burger King, Jack Links, and Mountain Dew that can get you some additional tokens. 

The collaboration XP tokens require you to purchase products from the aforementioned places or special Call of Duty meal bundles if you want to get your hands on the XP tokens. The offers are available in limited locations only so you should confirm if special offers are available in your region before making any purchases.
