Acquiring a Cord in Lego Fortnite can be done in one of two ways. The first way is by crafting it and the other way is by finding it inside chests, which is pretty rare considering its rarity. Keeping that in mind, crafting is the more reliable method of getting Cord.
Fortunately crafting a Cord in Lego Fortnite is not overly complicated, and the required materials are relatively straightforward to collect.
How to Craft a Cord: Spinning Wheel and Gathering Vines
To start, you will need a Spinning Wheel, a machine allowing you to craft various utilities from the build menu. Gather the following resources to craft the Wheel:
12 x Plank
5 x Wooden Rod
5 x Wood
5 x Wolf Claw
Although obtaining wood is easy, crafting the planks and the wooden rod does require access to a Lumber Mill, which in turn demands 8 wood and 15 granite for construction. Wolf claws can be acquired by killing hostile wild Wolves, which can usually be found in grassland biomes and near or outside caves. While attacking them might seem a little intimidating at first, it is certainly possible if you wield a Sword or have a villager accompanying you to battle.
After gathering the materials for the Spinning Wheel, head into the Utility section and build the Spinning Wheel. Next, you will need to collect Vines which is the recipe required to craft a Cord. Making one Cord requires 5 Vines. They can be acquired from Bushes, Plants, Corn Stalks, and even inside Caves. Remember, a Forest Axe (which can be made in the Crafting Bench for 5 wood and 2 granite) is necessary to harvest these Bushes.
