How to Fix No Animated Badges Bug in Apex Legends
If you climbed the ranks in Apex Legends last season only to receive a non-animated badge in Season 15, there is nothing to be worried about. There is a minor bug ongoing that prevents you from seeing the animations on your ranked badges. There’s a quick fix available and you should be able to view all of your animations correctly. Do note that you need to have reached the same rank in BOTH splits in the same season to get an animated badge. If you only reached Master or Predator during one of the two splits then you will only receive a normal version of the badge.
Fixing the no animated badges bug in Apex Legends
Once you receive your seasonal badge, restart your game once and your badge should now be animated. If this does not work, do the following:
Open the Legends Menu
Click on any legend with the non-animated badge
Head to Badges and unequip it
Equip it again
Restart your game
This will now resolve the issue and you will be able to view the animated version of the badges.
How to get animated badges in Apex Legends
You need to hit any rank twice across both splits to receive an animated badge in Apex Legends. For example, it is Season 15 and the first Split features Broken Moon. Assuming you get to Diamond, you will need to hit Diamond again in Split 2 to earn the rewards. In addition to animated badges, here are the other rewards that you can earn.
Bronze: Ranked Match Bronze Rank Holo Spray
Silver: Ranked Match Silver Rank Holo Spray
Gold: Ranked Match Gold Rank Holo Spray
Platinum: Ranked Match Platinum Rank Holo Spray
Diamond: Diamond Ranked Match Trail, Diamond Rank Holo Spray
Master: Master Ranked Match Trail, Master Rank Holo Spray
Predator: Predator Ranked Match Trail, Predator Rank Holo Spray
Once you are eligible for the ranked rewards, they will be added to your account in the following season. If you earn an animated badge in Season 15, it will be given to you on day one of Season 16 along with other ranked rewards.
