How to Finish the BP Depot Quest in Escape From Tarkov?

The BP Depot quest in Escape from Tarkov is a discovery-type task. It is given by trader Pavel Yegorovich Romanenko, also known by his alias Prapor. The quest takes place on Customs, the second map that was added to the game. Completing the Delivery from the Past quest unlocks this. Additionally, finishing this Prapor quest will lead you to the tasks of Bad Rep Evidence and the Bunker Part I. Note that this quest is required for securing the Kappa Safe Container in the game.

BP Depot Quest in Escape from Tarkov

To begin this quest, you must be at least level 5. When you take it up, Prapor says he’s been pondering on some business and a “little bird” asked him to check out the area where there might still be some fuel remaining.

“Hot topic, you understand, not for just anybody to charge with. And here you step in! Lucky me. Cutting it short, you’ve handled beacons before, right? No rocket science - stick it somewhere out of sight, press the button, get out. Got it? Excellent, all that’s left is to find and mark the tanks. Here, take those beacons. Consider it a token of appreciation for our successful partnership,” Prapor adds.

The quest objectives are as follows:

• Locate and mark the first MS2000 Marker with an MS2000 Marker

• Locate and mark the second fuel tank with an MS2000 Marker

• Locate and mark the third fuel tank with an MS2000 Marker

• Locate and mark the fourth fuel tank with an MS2000 Marker

• Survive and extract from the location

Note that all the fuel tanks are in Customs.

Upon accepting the quest, you receive the four MS2000 Markers. Remember that you need to mark the orange fuel tanker trucks and not the actual tanks. Additionally, you can also attempt to finish this quest over multiple raids. Since you can use these markers from your Secure Container, you can keep them stored in there so that even when you die, you don’t have to purchase additional ones. 

Another aspect to remember is that after placing a marker, you need to stay alive for 30 seconds or you will be required to place another one on the tanker if you die in the meantime.

The locations of the tanks are as follows and for your convenience they have been marked on the following image:

• Fuel Tank 1 is at the new gas station.

• Fuel Tank 2 is at the construction site.

• Fuel Tank 3 is at the old gas station.

• Fuel Tank 4 is on the road between the Crossroads and Trailer Park extractions.
