Valorant Premier is an upcoming competitive playlist that is open only to registered players. The mode will allow players to create their own teams and compete in a structured tournament environment within the Valorant client. Riot Games has made it mandatory for players to enable SMS verification for Valorant and if you have trouble signing up, here’s what you need to know.
How to set up SMS verification for Valorant Premier
To set up SMS verification, here’s what you need to do:
Launch the Valorant client
Click on the Premier tab and click on Verify on the Verify Now Panel
Enter your country code, area code and phone number
You will receive a text message from Riot Games with a secret code
Enter the code to verify your account
Do note that if you see a “Create a Team” option instead of the Verification menu, it means that your account is already verified.
SMS verification is not the only condition you need to be eligible for joining Premier. In addition to linking your phone number to your Valorant account, you also need to complete your placements in Valorant’s competitive mode in any Act.
