Warzone 2.0 launched with cross-play allowing players on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation to play with each other regardless of which platform anyone plays on. Crossplay is completely optional and you can turn it on or off depending on your preferences. Here’s how you can enable or disable crossplay in Warzone 2.0. The option to turn off crossplay is currently available to PlayStation and Xbox players only.

How to enable Warzone 2.0 cross-play on PlayStation

If you want to enable/disable cross-play for Warzone 2.0 on PlayStation:

  1. Launch Warzone 2

  2. From the main menu head to Options

  3. Press R1 to open the Settings menu

  4. Scroll down to the Artwork and Network menu

  5. Turn on/off Crossplay

  3. Go into Privacy and Online Safety

  4. Select Xbox Privacy

  5. Go into View Details and Customize

  6. Click Communication and Multiplayer

  7. Select Cross-network play

How to enable/disable cross-play for Warzone 2.0 on Steam/Battle.net

Cross-play is enabled on Steam and Battle.net by default and there is no way to turn it off. PC players are forced to play with console players. However, console players are put into PC lobbies only if the console players are teamed up with PC players.

Disabling cross-play is not recommended as you will experience much higher queue times due to the player pool reducing upon turning off the feature. Turning the feature off is recommended only if you do not mind the longer queue times.
