The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 2 Championship 2022 is all set to kick off on 7th July in Raleigh, USA and as many as 40 teams from five regions will be competing for the lion’s share of a $2 Million USD prize pool. Electronic Arts announced that fans can also purchase esports team-branded items in the Team Shop in Apex Legends starting from 6th July up until 19th July. Even if fans cannot make it to the biggest LAN event in the game’s history, they can earn rewards and drops from the comfort of their homes by watching the ALGS Year 2 Championship 2022 live on Twitch.
Respawn Entertainment has a plethora of in-game goodies lined up as part of the Twitch drops. Here’s everything you need to do to earn the Twitch drops for the ALGS Year 2 Championship.

Electronic Arts wrote, “ALGS fans that tune in to the Championship via Twitch can also claim rewards just for watching, as Twitch Drops return for the Finals on Sunday, July 10th! The Championship will award in-game cosmetic items that viewers can earn simply by watching all the action unfold on Twitch.”
Just like the Prime Gaming rewards, players will need to make sure that their Twitch accounts are linked to their EA accounts to earn these limited-time rewards.
How to link Apex Legends account to Twitch
If you have not already linked your Apex Legends account to Twitch, the following are the steps you need to follow:
Ensure your Gamertag, Nintendo Switch, or PlayStation ID is linked to your EA account.
Create or log in to your Twitch account that you will be watching the ALGS Year 2 Championship 2022.
Head over to the Connect with Twitch page and enter the EA account information and you will be connected and ready to earn the sweet rewards

What are the Twitch drops and rewards for watching ALGS Year 2 Championship 2022?
Apex Legends players will have the opportunity to get their hands on four in-game collectibles via the ALGS Year 2 Championship Twitch drops this week. The following are the available collectibles and the details on how long players need to watch the stream on Day 4 to get them:
15 cumulative minutes – Rare “ALGS-Glitched” Holospray
One cumulative hour – Rare “Digital Jammer” Devotion skin
Two cumulative hours – Rare “Amethyst Assassin” Revenant skin
Three cumulative hours – Epic “Lowkey Flex” Gun Charm
Apart from this, players also have the opportunity to unlock a new community-created Twitch Drop. Watching other Apex Legends streamers this week during the Championship will unlock an in-game loading screen.
