Reshala is one of the many Scav bosses found in Escape From Tarkov. Also known as the Dealmaker, he spawns on the Customs map. You’ll need to kill Reshala once for The Huntsman Path - Justice, Trophy and Relentless quests which are given to you by Jaeger.
He has an approximately 38% spawn chance on a number of locations on the Customs map. Reshala is normally surrounded by a number of his guards. Here is how to deal with Reshala effectively in Escape From Tarkov.
Where does Reshala spawn on Customs?
Reshala usually spawns on the map along with a number of his goons in the three-storey dormitory on any of the floors.
He spawns on the new gas station towards the south side or next to trucks on the western side or even around the front near the sandbags.
He spawns near the construction site.
He may also spawn on the passage between Checkpoint and the Sub-Station.
How to deal with Reshala in Escape From Tarkov?
Reshala and his 4 goons are not that difficult compared to other bosses in the game. The goons spawn with different class armors, sometimes they may even be wearing Altyn helmets and class 5 or 6 armor. Reshala usually stands behind his guards and if you pick a fight with his group, you’ll need to take them out to get to him. Once attacked, Reshala and one or two guards will usually look for cover while you take out the rest of his team. If you’re a player scav with low scav karma, be careful, his guards may shoot you without provocation if you come close to their unit. His guards may sometimes give warnings to low karma player scavs before becoming hostile.
Due to chances of high level armor spawn, make sure you use weapons that use high caliber bullets like 7.62x39mm BP gzh ammo which can pierce through Altyns and 5th class armor with one or two shots. His guards are usually in close proximity to each other so it’s a good idea to grenade them. However, note that they throw grenades and flashbangs at you too so be cautious.
If you’re fighting Reshala in the dorms, try to move around undetected and hunt them out one at a time. Clear the dorms room by room and wait to take out all the guards before you loot them.
While fighting Reshala in the Stronghold, they usually tend to run away towards the south side towards the dorms. Let’s take a look at some of the strategies to take him down at various spawn points:
