How to deal with Killa in Escape From Tarkov
Killa spawns with light machine guns or other automatic weapons which he uses to gun enemies down while moving from cover to cover. He will usually keep a lot of pressure on the player, firing an accurate burst of rounds. He will try to cover the distance between him and his target before going in for a final push. He will also use multiple smoke grenades and fragmentation grenades to force you out of cover. It is also hard to lose him if you attract his aggression since he will chase you for large distances outside his patrol area.
If you're not pursuing him for quests or loot, the best strategy is to avoid getting his attention. If you do need to find and take him out, running flashbangs is a good way to make sure Killa does not catch you off guard. Throw these in areas where there is a chance Killa will spawn and listen for voice cues. For weapons you can run a relatively thrifty build using the ASh-12 12.7x55 assault rifle.
Here is the recommended loadout. It’s best to use a 20-round mag. You can pick up armor from any scavs or PMCs that you take out on your way to Killa’s spawn.
While it requires multiple bullets to get through his armor, you can use this to one-tap his helmet which is level 4. Try to aim at his helmet rather than his vizor since it is level 6. Other loadouts you can run should include high penetration ammunition such as 5.45 BS, 5.56 M995, or 7.62x51. Note that flashbangs are only for checking if Killa has spawned or not. Grenades generally won't work to kill him, as he is a highly mobile fighter and will not stay in one spot long enough for a grenade to stop him.
