League of Legends is played by millions of players everyday around the world. Riot Games has set up League servers in various locations to accommodate the MOBA’s large player base. Riot accounts are restricted to their specific servers, so a player playing on the NA (North America) server won’t be able to use their details to login and play on the EUW (Europe West) server. You’ll either need to transfer your account to the other server or create a new one for the specific server to change your region in League. So if you’re moving permanently to another location or going on a long trip, you may want to transfer your League account to keep your ping low and retain your skins, emotes and other cosmetics. Here is how to change your region in League of Legends.
