Fortnite Chapter 5 Season One brought numerous additions in the form of new game modes, collaborations, and outfits. Apart from this, the battle royale mode also saw enhancements such as medallions, Boss NPCs, and so on. While the game showcased various new content for the month of December, the first week of January was pretty uneventful, that is until the studio decided to reward players with a stylish Glider called High Society that has captured the attention of several gamers.
How to Get Fortnite’s High Society Glider For Free?
Acquiring the High Society glider in Fortnite requires you to gather 75 points in the battle royale’s Ranked Cup. This Ranked Cup began on 11th January and will continue until 14th January. Players can belong to any rank and participate in solo, duos, or squad games in both Battle Royale or Zero Build modes to be eligible for the reward.
To earn sufficient points, you will have to play at least a few matches and the number of points you earn from each match is based on numerous factors such as:
Your Placement: Might earn anywhere from 3 points if you get killed right away and 67 points if you get Victory Royale.
Number of Eliminations: You will be awarded 2 points per kill.
Number of Forecast Towers Secured: You will receive 3 points per tower.
Loot Island Captured: The game will grant you 15 points.
Keep in mind that you need to have an account that is at least level 15 or higher with Two-factor authentication enabled. You also need to be above the age of 13 to participate in this Ranked Cup event.
If any of this sounds familiar to you, this is because Ranked Cups were also present in season OG and it was considered to be a hit-or-miss among the community, with many players reporting that they didn’t receive their rewards for it. While players got the competitor’s Skyblade and Competitor’s Time Brella last time, they did not have the option to customize their gliders.
However, with the High Society Glider, Epic Games has given players the option to customize the color of their glider provided they reach each respective rank. For example, if you reach Diamond, you will be able to access all 5 available glider colors until that rank. This means reaching Unreal would give you access to all 8 colors.
