Fortnite x Devil May Cry Crossover

The popular Battle-Royale game is no stranger to partnerships, as Fortnite has established a reputation for collaborating with major franchises throughout the years. The game’s player base has been consistently spoiled by exciting in-game events and items based on concerts, movies, and much more. 

Based on the latest rumors, it seems like Capcom’s Devil May Cry is likely the next mega-franchise to join the Fortnite universe. The rumors come from XboxEra Podcast, where @Shpeshal_Nick stated that he received a DM from a source that Fortnite x Devil May Cry would be happening in the future and that there’s a loading screen in the game, which hints at the crossover. That’s not all; Fortnite will also collaborate with James Cameron’s Avatar.

For the Avatar crossover, it was revealed that Jake Sully is the only confirmed character so far in the event. It would be interesting to see how this would work, as Na’vi are incredibly tall and larger than other Fortnite characters.

Of course, the Devil May Cry crossover won’t arrive in the game until next season. Things can change, and it’s just a rumor, but Nick has a pretty solid track record, so we can say this rumor has a degree of credibility.
