Highlights
Many players seem to experience an issue where the Solo Victory Cash Cup does not show up in their game’s playlist.
At the time of writing, Fortnite has officially reported to have fixed the issue while also extending the tournament window by an hour.
A community workaround where you join and leave another eligible player’s lobby seems to fix the issue for most people.

Fortnite allows players to win exciting cash rewards by participating in its Victory Cup events, further increasing the competitive spirit of the battle royale. While there are several categories within the Victory Cup, numerous players who participate in solo events seem to run into an issue where they cannot see the Solo Victory Cash Cup inside the game.

This has understandably frustrated many gamers as each session of this event only occurs for a limited time, which means they will miss out on their cash rewards. Without further ado, let’s take a look at how to fix this issue.

How to Fix the Solo Victory Cash Cup Event Issue in Fortnite?

While some players have reported the Victory Cup events not showing up in the past, this persistent problem came to light when numerous gamers belonging to the EU were unable to view the Solo Victory Cash Cup #8 Event on 19th January. Thankfully, this issue was soon acknowledged by the devs and they put out a statement on their official Fortnite handles.

To many players’ delight, this bug was fixed within an hour of them addressing it, and to make up for the lost time, the devs also extended the tournament window by one hour. While the problem was resolved for most gamers, some unlucky ones still had to deal with this frustrating bug. Here’s everything you can try to fix this:

Eligibility Check

Make sure you meet all the requirements to compete in this tournament:

  • You must be at least 13 years old.

  • You must have a level 15 account.

  • You must be at least Gold and above.

  • You must enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on your Epic Games account.

  • You must belong to an eligible region.

Join and Leave Your Friend’s Party

This community workaround requires you to join and leave another eligible player’s lobby. You must make sure that the Victory Cup events are visible to them before joining and leaving their party. Upon doing so, many players reported that the event started appearing again in their playlists as well.

Several gamers also mentioned that joining a friend’s lobby while they are in the Zero Builds Cup seemed to fix the bug. Although this was specific to PC players, it might be worth a shot as it does not take up much time.

Update Fortnite to its latest version

While restarting the game is an obvious troubleshooting method, you might also want to make sure that you are running on the latest version of the game that has patched up this persistent bug. You can follow Fortnite's official social media handles to be notified of any new updates to the game.

Verify Integrity of Fortnite’s Game Files

  • Open your Epic Games Launcher and find Fortnite from your game library.

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of the game icon to open a pop-up window.

  • Select Manage and click on Verify

  • Wait for the verification to complete. If you have any missing or corrupt game files, the launcher will automatically download and install them for you.

Those are all the ways you can resolve the bug where Fortnite’s Solo Victory Cash Cup events don’t show up. Unfortunately, if you are still dealing with this problem after trying the aforementioned methods, you can contact Fortnite Support and raise a ticket for further troubleshooting.
