Here is all we know about when Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 starts.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Start Date: What to expect?

According to leaks, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will start on or around Friday, 8th March 2024. While Epic Games has not officially confirmed this, the leaks along with the battle pass end date, can be used as a guide.

Right now details about the new season are sparse, but some information has been leaked about the upcoming update. According to leaks by FNChiefAko and Wensoing, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2’s theme will be Ancient Greek mythology.

Fortnite players have also reported experiencing earthquakes in the game with the Titan Hand spawning in a few hours, which is likely a lead up to the next season.

Fortnite content creator and leaker iFireMonkey tweeted out details of Pandora's Box which seems to feature Zues, Ares, Cerberus, and Hades.

Update v28.30 had also added three NPCs, one of them named Odyssey, one of two popular ancient Greek epic poems. On top of this, players can now complete the in-game Odyssey Quests, which are related to the Mosaic with the image of Cerberus, another popular figure from Greek mythology.

Players will likely have to work together to bring down the box from the Titan Hand.

The Battle Pass will also likely feature skins based on the season’s theme.

Apart from the theme, leaks suggest Epic Games is working on bringing Fall Guys-themed mini-games to Fortnite. While the timeline for this hasn’t been revealed, there is a possibility they will be introduced in Season 2.

As reported by Axios, according to Epic's head of Fortnite's ecosystem, Saxs Persson, Fortnite OG will make a comeback at some point in 2024. Talking about the fan-favorite mode, Persson said, “It's just a matter of how and when, and how do we make it so it's not just the same." Note that all these leaks and rumors can only amount to speculation at this stage. Fans will have to wait for Epic Games to announce the collaboration and more details about the upcoming chapter.
