ForsenE is a Twitch emote based on a warped image of the Twitch streamer, Forsen’s face. It is a subscriber-only emote and does not mean anything in particular. The Twitch emote is popularly spammed by Forsen’s fans . Sebastian “Forsen” Hans Eli Fors is a Swedish streamer who previously competed in Starcraft II and Hearthstone events and is also known for his Minecraft speedrun rivalry with xQc. Forsen’s fanbase calls themselves ‘Forsenboys’ and have helped ForsenE rise to the top and make it one of the most popular emotes on Twitch (based on numbers by StreamerElements). According to Know Your Meme, the original unwarped image of Forsen comes from a Viagame Q&A video recorded during DreamHack Summer 2015. The video went live on 22nd June 2015 and fans later adopted a warped image from the video that later became ForsenE.
Rise in popularity of ForsenE
The Twitch emote started showing up on Twitch streams in 2016 with Forsen’s fans using the emote regularly and leading to its increased popularity. After ForsenE was added to Twitch chat, Forsen’s fanbase quickly picked it up and started spamming it in his chat. The emote spread to Reddit and other online forums and it was promoted to a point where it reached Twitch's top global emote list, beating out other popular picks like Kappa and Trihard in January 2018. Forsenboys eventually raided other popular streams to promote ForsenE and even spawned variations like ForsenCD which is a ForsenE image with sunglasses and Dr Disrespect’s moustache added on. A slightly more disturbing version of the emote called ForsenT was later used by some fans which featured a ForsenE image with Forsen’s teeth photoshopped onto his eyes.
Since ForsenE is a subscriber-only emote, users will need to subscribe to Forsen’s Twitch channel to gain access to the emote and use it anywhere on Twitch.
