Secure Containers in Escape From Tarkov
There are currently six different kinds of secure containers in Escape From Tarkov. Each container has a peculiar size and certain characteristics that differentiate it from other containers. Here are the six secure containers currently available in Tarkov from the largest to smallest in size:
Secure container Kappa - 3x4
Secure container Gamma - 3x3
Secure container Epsilon - 4x2
Secure container Beta - 3x2
Secure container Alpha - 2x2
Waist pouch - 2x2
Secure containers Kappa are the biggest and some of the most sought after containers in the game. They weigh 2 kg in the game and come with 12 slots (3x4).While it is harder for newer players to get their hands on a Kappa container, seasoned Tarkov veterans can take on the challenge. You’ll need to complete almost every single quest in the game (except a few optional ones). Once you do that, you’ll unlock a special quest from the Fence called The Collector. You need to be level 62 to complete The Collector and turn in every streamer item in the game including the Veritas guitar pick, Old firesteel and more. The Gamma container is available with the Edge of Darkness edition of Escape From Tarkov. Unfortunately, there is no other way to get this container in the game. This container has 9 slots (3x3).
The Epsilon secure container is equivalent to two Alpha containers with a total of 8 slots (4x2). The only way to get this container is to complete The Punisher - Part 6 quest given to you by Prapor. You’ll complete all 6 parts to get to this final quest.
The Beta container is available with the Prepare for Escape Edition of the game or higher. This has a total of 6 slots (2x3). For those with the standard edition of the game you can purchase this at level II from the Peacekeeper. You can also buy this from the Flea Market at level 15 or higher.
The Alpha container is available with the standard edition of the game. The Alpha container has 4 slots (2x2). If by any chance you lose this container, you can purchase it from the Peacekeeper.
One of the newest containers added to the game is the Waist Pouch which also comes with 4 slots (2x2). The only way to obtain this is through the Scav Case in your Hideout.
