The creative force behind Escape from Tarkov, Battlestate Games, is giving an opportunity for a fresh start to players. The annual Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drop Event is underway and has a lot of rewards for players.

The event already began on 29th December 2023 and will run till 8th January 2024. The drop event has a lot of rewards for players. So, get ready to seize this golden opportunity by reaching certain milestones.

Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drop Event

For the uninitiated, a Twitch Drop event is an opportunity for players to stream their favorite Twitch streamers in exchange for rewards. Players should note that the Twitch drops are only available to users who own a copy of the game.

If you don’t have one, you will have to purchase it before looking to redeem the Escape from Tarkov Twitch drops. In order to receive these drops or give them away on your Twitch channel, both viewers and streamers need to link their Twitch account to their game profile on the Escape from Tarkov website


How to Participate in the Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drop Event

Follow the given steps be part of this exciting event:

Step 1: Get the Game

If you don't have Tarkov yet, now’s the time. You need to have the game in order to participate in the event.

Step 2: Connect Twitch and Tarkov

Link your Twitch and Tarkov accounts. Go to the Escape From Tarkov website and log in. Go to the menu, and link Twitch.

Step 3: Pick a Stream

You can watch any listed Escape From Tarkov stream between 29th Dec and 8 January 2024. You can find these streamers listed on the blog and through the official broadcast channel of Battlestate Games.

Step 4: Join the streams

As you watch and complete milestones, you earn drops. When the bar is full, Twitch will notify you. You can claim it on the inventory page, and it’s in your game.

Step 5: Grab Your Loot

Keep an eye on your messages. A special one will pop up with your Twitch loot. Transfer it to your stash in the game, and you're done!


During intervals in the streams, players will be able to obtain in-game items like weapons, equipment and other rare in-game items. Watch streams to get drops

Battlestate Games stated that the mechanics of obtaining drops remain unchanged this year as streamers will participate in 6x12h campaigns:

  • 2 for 12 hours on general day (29th December)

  • 2 for 12 hours on general day (7th January)

  • 2 for 12h personal campaigns on two different days, the first campaign starts at 11 AM GMT / 6 AM EST, the second campaign starts at 11 PM GMT / 6 PM EST.

Notably, between 29th and 30th December 29, drops were available for everyone.


What drops can you get?

Battlestate Games guarantees that during the campaign, you will receive one in-game item at certain intervals and this could include weapons, gear, various rare items, etc. It also added that viewers can watch one or more broadcasts, but viewing time will only count if the broadcasts are part of the event.
