As part of the collaboration between Fortnite and the Dragon Ball franchise, players might get another addition in the form of Cell and Frieza outfits to the game. Yes, that's right! Your favorite anime villains can possibly make their way into Epic’s battle royale, adding to the already alluring roster of iconic Dragon Ball characters like Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma who were included last year. This news comes from reliable leaker and content creator iFireMonkey who mentioned that they might also get their own skin variants. Without further ado, let’s delve into it.
Fortnite X Dragon Ball Collab Might Add Cell and Frieza Outfits
On 7th December content creator and reliable leaker, IFireMonkey made a post on X which showcased three skin variants for Frieza and two versions of Cell.
According to the leaks, simply unlocking the outfits will also give you access to their transformation styles as well. Frieza’s transformation styles include:
First Form: Adorned with horns and purple armor. His original state.
Fourth Form: His powerful form which is most recognized by fans
Golden Frieza: A Gold variant based on the Fourth Form
Cell will also be able to switch between the First Form and the Perfect Form which significantly enhances his stature in the anime. Considering the new Lego X Fortnite collab, we might also get to see those skin versions.
For those who are not familiar with the Dragon Ball series, Frieza and Cell are formidable villains and are considered to be some of the best anime antagonists of all time. Frieza is the most recurring villain in the series clashing with his archnemesis Goku and his allies which made up for some of the best action sequences in the anime. Cell was also shown as a deadly threat as he was a creation of Dr. Gero who combined favorable genetic traits from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, King Cold, and even Frieza, making this android a force to be reckoned with.
Judging from past trends, these skins are expected to be priced somewhere between 1500 to 2000 V-Bucks and they might even appear as a bundle costing over 3000 V-Bucks. Although there is no set release date for these outfits, they are expected to be released before the end of December most likely during Fortnite’s annual Christmas event called Winterfest.
Keep in mind that this info is entirely based on leaks and rumors as there has been no official announcement made by Epic Games, at least at the time of writing. Please take this information with a grain of salt.
