We’re just a few days away from the launch of Modern Warfare 3, the direct sequel to MW3, which brings a plethora of new content and features. Of course, it wouldn’t be a new Call of Duty game without a bunch of new weapons to try. While we did get a look at some of the new weapons in beta, we finally know about all weapons coming in Modern Warfare 3, which can be played at the launch.

Modern Warfare 3: How Many Weapons Are There?

There’s no doubt that an operator is only as good as their tools, and in MW3, there are a lot of weapons you can choose from. The developers have confirmed there will be a whopping 114 weapons at the launch, and with the ‘Carry Forward’ program, players can transfer the weapons and cosmetics of Modern Warfare 2 into the new game. This includes 37 weapons designed explicitly for Modern Warfare 3 and 77 weapons brought from MW2.

If you haven’t finished unlocking MW2’s complete arsenal, you can still unlock these weapons by completing the unlock challenge in either the game’s multiplayer or by extracting weapons in the MW3 Zombies match.
