Highlights
The Striker 9 recently received a major buff as part of Season 2, which made it one of the best SMGs in the game.
The season 2 update enhanced both its damage rates and damage range to make the SMG deadly in close combat.
This guide will provide you with some of the best Striker 9 attachments you can use to pull off sneaky plays in Modern Warfare 3.

The Striker 9 is a potent Sub-Machine Gun in Call of Duty (COD) Modern Warfare 3 thanks to its excellent fire rate, unique barrel attachments, and manageable recoil which allows you to run and gun your opponents. Even with all these impressive features, the gun was still not picked up by many players, due to its low damage stat and mediocre damage.

However, with the new Season 2 patch, the developers have provided numerous buffs to the SMG, improving its damage range, and bullet velocity, with the added ability to use ADS while sliding. Without further delay, let’s delve into the best Striker 9 load-outs for the new season.

The Best Striker 9 Loadouts in COD Modern Warfare 3

Before we jump into the best load-outs, you need to know that the Striker 9 is available as an Armory Unlock in the game and players need to reach at least level 25 to add it to their arsenal. Once you reach the required level, you simply need to activate the objective and complete three daily tasks to use it.

The Pro Player Loadout

This one seems to be the most preferred Striker 9 loadout by professional players and streamers, and it is certainly not without good reason. Here are the attachments they use:

  • Barrel: Striker Elite Long Barrel

  • Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Brake S

  • Underbarrel: DR- 6 Handstop

  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

  • Stock: RB Crotalus Asault Stock

The Striker Elite Long Barrel enhances the weapon’s bullet velocity, while also improving the idle aim sway, allowing you to shoot your shoots with added precision. The Purifier Muzzle Brake S helps you control all horizontal recoil and also improves stability.

The Sakin ZX Grip and the RB Crotalus stock also significantly enhance firing aim stability along with minor buffs to deal with gun kick and recoil. The DR- 6 Handstop on the other hand, compensates for the reduced mobility of the barrel by increasing ADS speed, aim walking speed, and sprint to fire speed.

Our Recommended Loadout

  • Barrel: Striker Elite Long Barrel

  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider

  • Optic: MK 3 Reflector

  • Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom- 5 Handstop

  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

The Striker Elite Long Barrel and the Sakin ZX Grip remain the same, considering that they are undoubtedly the best barrel and grip attachments for this SMG. However, the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider has been added to the Striker 9, keeping in mind the buffs that have been provided with Season 2.

Apart from improved vertical recoil and stability, this hybrid muzzle also shortens radar pings, meaning you can leverage it to surprise enemies. The XTEN Phantom-5 under barrel provides major buffs to Spring-to-fire speeds and ADS speeds allowing improved precision while running and gunning, which is further improved by the MK3 Reflector. These attachments make the Striker 9 a deadly close-range weapon, while also making a case for itself even in mid to long ranges.

Other Loadout Recommendations for the Striker 9 in COD Modern Warfare 3

  • Vest: Ninja

  • Boots: Covert Sneakers

  • Gloves: Ordnance gloves

  • Gear: Ghost

  • Secondary: WSP Stinger

  • Tactical: Stim

  • Lethal: Semtex

  • Field Upgrade: Ammunition Box

These consumables and accessories will further come in handy to become the ultimate sneaky run-and-gun warrior in MW3 when combined with the Striker 9. Considering that you are rocking an SMG with outstanding fire rates, the Ammunition Box is a must-have if you like spraying down your enemies.
