Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is all set to launch on 10th November 2023, but the game will get additional content with Season 1 update.
Here's everything we know about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1.

The latest entry in the Call of Duty series is right around the corner, bringing plenty of content that nostalgic and newcomers alike will love. While there’s a lot to go over in the first few days of any Call of Duty Game, hordes of fans are already asking what they can expect when the season content drops.

As we’ve seen with previous MW titles, Modern Warfare 3 is set to operate on a season format, with regular content updates hitting to keep the shooter fresh. While the game isn’t even out officially, we know a lot about Modern Warfare 3 Season 1, including its expected start date and content.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1: Release Date

Historically, the first season of a modern Call of Duty game usually comes about one month after the game’s launch. Last year’s MW2 was released on 28th October, while season 1 dropped on 16th November, just two and half weeks later.

MW3 Season 1 is most likely to be released in December 2023, and while we still don’t have an official date from the developers, we can expect it to drop on Wednesday 6th December 2023. This is when MW2 and Warzone Season 6 wrap up and follow the trend of recent releases.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1: All Content

It’s expected that MW3 Season 1 would bring the same content as MW2’s seasons, which includes the first Battle Pass, Operators, new weapons, balance changes, Zombies content, and much more.

We do know, as confirmed during the CoD Next event on 5th October 2023, that three new 6v6 maps will be added at the start of Modern Warfare 3 Season 1. We can expect more content to arrive in future seasons, including a mix of classic CoD maps and new locations.

We recommend you jump into MW2 Season 6 to grab the latest weapons and blueprints. Thanks to Warfare 3’s carry-forward features, players will be able to bring weapons and attachments from MW2 into the new game.

If you’re itching to get on the ranked grind, you may be a little disappointed by the lack of a ranked ladder at the launch, but this is nothing new to the series. If, in fact, anything, the fact that we’ll see ranked coming to the game in Season 1 is an improvement over MW2, which didn’t even get ranked until the release of Season 2 back in February 2023.

And that’s everything you need to know about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1. Be sure to follow us as we’ll keep you updated on the latest Call of Duty news and guides.
