In October 2023, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) will be celebrating its first year anniversary. While its launch may not have been an illustrious affair, the game introduced many features and personalization options. For the first time ever in the history of Call of Duty franchises, MW introduced players to Loading Screens. Even after so many months of launch, players are wondering how to unlock and change Loading Screens in MW2.

Changing Loading Screens in Modern Warfare 2

Loading Screens are a fun customization option available in Modern Warfare 2 but keep in mind that it is not as easy to show off as other features. Since all of them will be locked in the beginning, it gets a bit confusing for the players.

Firstly, there are three major ways of unlocking these screens in Modern Warfare 2:

• The first way and straightforward way to unlock Loading Screens is by getting them through Bundles.

• You can also get them by completing and progressing through Battle Passes. 

• Lastly, completing Faction Missions also unlocks Loading Screens.

Now, all that’s left is to customize your Loading Screens in Modern Warfare 2, and to do that, players need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Go into a lobby of your choice by selecting a game mode that you see on the launch screen.

• When you have entered the lobby, head over to the “Customize” tab, which you can see in the middle of your screen.

• Go to the option ‘Select Loading Screen’.

• Here, pick your favorite loading screen that you would like to show off.

Notably, one of the best things about this feature is that it also has the option where it randomizes your collection. This randomize option will shuffle through the various loading screens that you already have in your lobby and present you with one.

Keep in mind that you will be rewarded with new loading screens each season. Once you’ve played through a few, you will start building up a solid collection and have more options for Loading Screens. Along with the bundles offered in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, you will unlock loading screens that are specific to the bundle and operator you chose to buy.
