Finding the best team compositions is the make-or-break factor in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 9: Runeterra Reforged. In Patch 13.13 there are certain comps that are guaranteed to work really well and you can see players scrambling to pull these off in the ranked games. Just like in any competitive game, it is important to stay on top of the meta and up your game. Since in TFT, there is a bit of RNG (random number generator) involved, you must be ready to improvise, adapt and overcome because you will not be handed these compositions on a platter.
Having said all that, here are two best comps in TFT that are winning players a number of games currently.
TFT Set 9 Patch 13.13 Meta Explainer: Best Comps
Runeterra Reforged is the 9th set for TFT and it has bought forth exciting new champions, traits, and augments. It also introduced brand-new mechanics that will provide a ton of customization and variation for each match. The new mechanics in this Set are as follows:
Legends: Players have to pick a Legend before the start of a match. When choosing an augment, one of the three options will always be determined by the Legend they chose.
Regional Portals: At the start of every match, you will have the choice between three region portals, and after every player votes for a portal, everyone gets teleported to that region which sets the tone for the game.
Here are two of the best team comps to try out:
Ionian Challengers
The traits in this comp are:
Ionia: 6
Challenger: 4
Juggernaut: 2
Invoker: 2
The early comp should be Irelia, Jinx, Sett, Warwick, and Zed. While the final team composition is Irelia, Sett, Warwick, Karma, Kaisa, Shen, Yasuo, and Ahri.
With this team, you will have to hit Level 8 really fast. You do not have to later level up to 9 so instead you can spend money on rerolls and champions.
Strategist Azir
As the comp name suggests, your main build is around Azir and pairing him up with the following traits:
Strategist: 4
Demacia: 3
Shurima: 3
Juggernaut: 2
Multicaster: 2
Sorcerer: 2
Your final lineup will be Azir, Lux, Taliyah, Teemo, Jarvan IV, Nasus, Swain and Garen. The main focus is on Guinsoo + Statikk Shiv Azir paired up with Tank Jarvan or Nasus in the frontline.
If you are a fast reroller in TFT, you can look at building a composition around Tristana (Gunner), Zed/Kled (Slayer) and Darius/Katarina (Noxus).
If you have been playing TFT for a while now, you will know how valuable the Spatula is. The good news is we have a handy guide for all the Spatula emblem recipes in Set 9 Runeterra Reforged in this article 'Teamfight Tactics Set 9: All Spatula Emblem Recipes You Need to Know.'
