Jinx and Vi are seen as sisters in the start of the Arcane animated series but that quickly changes as Zaun gets thrown into turmoil after the death of Vander, who had become a father figure to the two protagonists.

Vi is known for her temper and is willing to pick a fight with anyone. But her anger becomes her biggest enemy as she shuns Jinx after the death of Vander at the end of Act 1. Vi eventually comes to terms with her rage and wants to resolve things with Jinx.

But things seem to have strayed too far with Jinx feeling betrayed by what happened between her and Vi. After the death of Vander and Vi’s arrest, Jinx was left alone and manipulated by Silco, the game’s main antagonist. Jinx starts thinking of Vi as her enemy and wants to end everything both characters shared between them.
