Apex Legends Collection Events have become a staple among the game’s events, usually launching an heirloom and a number of new cosmetics for players to earn and purchase. The Spellbound Collection event will bring Seer’s heirloom to the game along with a limited time mode (LTM) and the ability to create private matches. The Spellbound event will span two weeks with the update bringing a number of gameplay changes too.

Spellbound Collection Event release date

The Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event will start on 10th January and end on 24th January 2023. The event will include a Spellbound reward tracker and a number of store changes across the event period. The event will also bring back Control as an LTM. The 9 vs.9 mode is back on the following maps:

  • Storm Point: Barometer

  • World's Edge: Lava Siphon

  • Olympus: Hammond Labs

Here are all the rewards you can earn in the Spellbound Collection Event:

The Spellbound reward tracker can be progressed by completing missions.

Showstoppers, the new Seer Heirloom

Along with Spellbound cosmetics comes the much awaited heirloom for Seer. Showstoppers, Seer’s Heirloom, will be unlockable with Heirloom shards or by unlocking 24 cosmetics before the event is over.

The dual flex blades house some of Seer’s microdrones and come with a number of cool animation. Heirlooms releases are always an exciting time for Apex fans, they reveal a bit more about their corresponding Legend and are a nice addition to the worldbuilding.

Seer has been getting a lot of attention in the past few patches both thematically (with Broken Moon) and in the Apex arena. Broken Moon explores the fallout of Seer’s “curse” as he is blamed for the catastrophe that falls Boreas' moon Cleo. Seer has also been gaining popularity in play as an alternative for Bloodhound in recent splits. While his pickrate remains low in unrated and lower ranked tiers. He is often picked among ranks above platinum and in pro play.
