BTTV, also known as BetterTTV, is a third-party browser extension that allows viewers to use emotes and animated spots in Twitch chat. The extension doesn’t run these emotes through Twitch directly, letting you use emotes that have been taken down on Twitch. BTTV offers extra emoticons, username, word and phrase highlighting, an anon chat feature, and lets you hide visual noises like bits. You can install the extension on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and Safari. Configure the chat settings by clicking the BTTV settings from the user dropdown menu on Twitch. If you need any help while using BetterTTV, you can type "/help" in chat to see the list of BetterTTV chat commands. BetterTTV also has a monthly payment subscription called BetterTTV Pro, which gives viewers the option to add more broadcasts and gives them preference in service.
