BOOM Esports vs Nigma Galaxy SEA: Match recap, highlights, and ctm interview

Recap

Game 1 was Yopaj's show as he caused havoc across the map with his mid Tiny. BOOM Esports had an aggressive tri-core of Tiny, Ursa, and Beastmaster, and they controlled the pace of the game. A few return kills were obtained by Nigma Galaxy SEA, but the game ended in favor of its opponents at 37 minutes. Yopaj finished the game with a magnificent KDA of 18-1-6.

Game 2 saw Nigma Galaxy SEA establish a 10k lead in just 20 minutes with a great laning performance. It was the team's supports who secured kills with some excellent ganks. By resorting to spit pushing, BOOM Esports prolonged the game and reached a point in teamfights where they masterfully kited the enemy cores. Nigma Galaxy SEA was puzzled by this situation, as they lost the match in 46 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

Despite his dominance throughout the first game, Yopaj did not have a great start to the second game. The game started off with one kill and five deaths for him, but he mounted a remarkable comeback to finish with 13 kills and six deaths. He used his expert spellcasting and target prioritization skills to enable his team during the teamfights.

Timothy John "Tims" Randrup, a former TNC Predator support player, recently joined BOOM Esports as a support player. During the post-match winner's interview, Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong (also known as "ctm") was asked if Tims brought his own perspective of Dota 2 to the team

“Yep. We share our ideas of our past teams and then we keep talking about how we wanna play.”

Ctm added that he, Yopaj, and Tims made the calls in the later stages of the games.
