Yatoro Names the Best Carry in Eastern European Dota

Over the years, the Eastern Europe (EEU) region has been a breeding ground for exceptionally talented carry players who possess strong mechanical skills. In a vlog posted on Team Spirit’s YouTube channel, the team’s The International 10 (TI10) winning carry Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, named the best carry in EEU Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 currently. Over the past year, a number of new carry faces have emerged in the region, but Yatoro said that veteran Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, who currently plays for Outsiders (Virtus.pro), is the best carry in EEU DPC Tour 3.

Yatoro stated during the vlog that RAMZES666 is the best carry in EEU DPC 2021-22 Tour 3.

“I think RAMZES666 is the best [from the carries in the first division of the CIS]. It's hard to pick anyone else."

When it came to watching replays himself, Yatoro, said that he only watches replays of Chinese players. He was further probed on why he didn't watch European players, to which he simply replied "No. Well, Why"

RAMZES666 has been ranked higher than other popular players in EEU DPC 2021-22 Tour 3 such as Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin and Alik "V-Tune" Vorobey, as well as other budding carry players in both Division 1 and Division 2.

However, as RAMZES666 happens to be one of the most successful players in the region, it isn't surprising to see him at the top of Yatoro’s carry list. During his time for Virtus.pro from 2016 to 2019, he won five Majors, finished second at two Majors, and placed 5th-6th at TI7 and TI8.

RAMZES666’s performance during the aforementioned tenure was even acknowledged by Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan in Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski’s livestream as he said, “I think Ramzes was like - the best all time carry player.” When Gorgc had expressed surprise at this statement, SumaiL replied, “In my opinion, yes. Ramzes’s peak is better than any other’s. That guy was too good.”

RAZMES666 appeared to have developed an interest in playing offlane after departing Virtus.pro and played the role for Evil Geniuses and Natus Vincere. He returned to carry in November 2021 when he formed CIS Rejects with other popular EEU players. He left CIS Rejects six months later to return to Virtus.pro after nearly three years.

RAMZES666 and Virtus.pro (playing under the ‘Outsiders’ tag) have so far done well in the DPC 2021-22 Tour 3 with 2-0 wins against Pari Parni and One Move.

Outsiders will face Natus Vincere next in the league, which will be a pivotal series for both teams in terms of qualifying for the PGL Arlington Major.
