Yatoro attributed Entity's poor performance to its roster
Yatoro even called out watson for his irresponsible attitude as a Dota 2 professional

Team Spirit’s Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk recently criticized Entity’s roster during a live stream hosted by Dota 2 caster Oleksii "STORM" Tumanov. On the stream, Team Spirit’s Yatoro talked about some reasons he thought were responsible for Entity’s recent poor form and performance. He also criticized Entity’s carry Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov for not being responsible as a Dota 2 pro.

Entity has had an underwhelming start to 2024 as it failed to qualify for BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, DreamLeague Season 22, and ESL One Birmingham 2024. Entity’s last tournament win was recorded in 2022 at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 8, a tier 3 tournament.

Yatoro Calls Out watson’s Irresponsible Attitude

It's just a weak team, I think. Their thing is that they make targeted substitutions and never completely change the lineup. This allows them to maintain stable performance. I would say they lack a gaming level. People don't seem to be sweating,” said Yatoro reportedly when talking about Entity. He openly attributed Entity’s failure to its roster.

The current roster of the team consists of:

  • Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov

  • Volodymyr "No[o]ne-" Minenko

  • Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin

  • Vladislav "Kataomi`" Semenov

  • Dzmitry "Fishman" Palishchuk

Yatoro specifically called out Entity’s watson for his irresponsible attitude. He reportedly also said, “For me, it's unclear why Watson is sitting streaming when he has qualifiers coming up. Or he sits watching 'Naruto.' To me, it's a bit wrong how he treats his professional activity.

During the recent qualifiers held in 2024, Entity performed poorly and could not qualify for any of the tournaments. It exited the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai Western Europe (WEU) closed qualifiers without a single win under its name. However, Entity made better progress in the DreamLeague Season 22 closed qualifier but lost the qualifying spot to Team Secret in a 1-2 series.

Following this, Entity played at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 WEU closed qualifier and was successful in beating Secret in the upper bracket semi-finals. But it was knocked down to the lower bracket by OG after a 1-2 series loss in the upper bracket finals. Entity eventually lost against Tundra Esports in the lower bracket finals and was knocked out of the qualifier.

Unlike other professional teams, Entity has undergone substantially fewer roster changes — five — since its region change. In comparison, Team Secret has undergone eleven roster changes since 2022. Maybe Yatoro’s comments carry a hint of truth and it's time for Entity to make a major roster overhaul.
