pindaPanda and Whitemon’s music-making seems to be on the rise as the two have released another collab on two Tagalog songs, Ignition and Libre Sampak. Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon can initially be seen reciting the verses of Ignition in a video posted to Pinda "pindaPanda" Rika Dorj's YouTube channel, while she sings her cover of Libre Sampak in the second segment. This is not the first collaborative music performance by the two SEA personalities as previously, they had duetted on the Filipino song, Dota o Ako, which translates to ‘Dota or me.’ It's been quite enjoyable for fans, especially from the Philippines, to see these collaborations between Whitemon and pindaPanda.
Whitemon and pindaPanda continue to release more music covers
pindaPanda congratulated Whitemon on the top three finish at the WePlay AniMajor with T1 and said that this video was from the “No Ragretz” album.
The video titled ‘TAGALOG IGNITION VS LIBRE SAMPAK’ is like a faceoff where Whitemon begins with Ignition and then pindaPanda presents her Libre Sampak version. By adding images to the track, she has also made some hilarious edits in the two-minute-long video.
Both Ignition and Libre Sampak are Filipino songs with curses and expletives. Libre Sampak is sung by rapper, NoPetsAllowed.
At the time of writing this article, ‘TAGALOG IGNITION VS LIBRE SAMPAK’ has already accumulated 55,000 views on YouTube, while ‘Dota o Ako’, the previous duet of the two personalities, has generated whopping 261,000 views.
Due to the popularity of the videos, we may see more duets and covers from Whitemon and pindaPanda in the future.
