A recent pub game saw EternaLEnVy in a comical situation when he was playing Faceless Void and asked his team to dive the enemy fountain.
The apparent purpose of this call, as absurd as it might appear, was to eliminate the enemies before they could position themselves after respawning.
However, the end result of this move turned out to be so hilarious that it left EternaLEnVy stupefied since it was not just his enemies, but also three of his allies who were stuck inside the Chronosphere.

Even when Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao is on a hiatus from competitive Dota 2, he certainly can not stay away from eccentric gameplay moments. A recent incident in which EternaLEnVy found himself involved in a comical situation took place in one of his pubs when he was playing Faceless Void and asked his team to dive the Enemy Fountain. The apparent purpose of this call, as absurd as it might appear, was to eliminate the enemies before they could position themselves after respawning. However, the end result of this move turned out to be so hilarious that it left EternaLEnVy stupified.

EternaLEnVy's plan to dive into the enemy Fountain ends in a hilarious fashion

On a Dota 2 livestream of a ranked matchmaking game on 2nd Jan 2022, EternaLEnVy's team came close to winning after 50 minutes of intense competition. When he realized that three of the enemies, including the midlaner and carry were dead, he told his team to go straight for the Ancient instead of taking down the middle Barracks.

As soon as the enemies used Glyph, EternaLEnVy, in his usual enthusiastic voice, said, “We should dive their base. I am gonna Chrono their fu**ing Fountain.” He repeated the phrase several times, telling his teams to prepare, and when Ursa, the enemy carry, was just one second away from respawning, he used Chronosphere on the enemy fountain.

The follow-up to the fight was absolutely hilarious. Phoenix, the support on EternaLEnVy’s team, unfortunately, used his Icarus Dive into the Chrono to get stuck inside. Tinker, the midlaner, somehow blinked into the Chrono to get stuck inside. Using her Solar Guardian, Dawnbreaker, his team's second support, managed to get stuck inside as well. Therefore, it was not just his enemies, but also three of his allies who were now trapped in their own teammate's Chronosphere!

Things were made worse by the fact that EternaLEnVy refreshed his Chronosphere, which prolonged the time his allies spent stuck inside, meaning the idea of killing their enemies inside their fountain failed horribly.

Centaur Warrunner, the enemy offlaner, was the only enemy to die and he bought back instantly. Comically, on EternaLEnVy's side, he was the only one who died and all the other heroes used their spells and items in order to escape.

After watching how the fight played out, the North American Dota 2 pro expressed his amazement to his teammates: “Why the fu** would you guys blink into the Fountain? I am the only one who needs to be in the Fountain. There isn’t a single hero that needs to be in the Fountain. You guys are fu**ing retarded.”

As the Twitch chat created clips and laughed at yet another EternaLEnVy comical gameplay moment, the player continued to explain how surprised he was by what happened during this teamfight. Fortunately for EternaLEnVy’s team, the fight did not prove to be their doomsday, as they managed to win the game with some amazing Chronos from him.
