Virtus.pro’s current Dota 2 roster:

  1. Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko

  2. Danil "gpk" Skutin

  3. Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin

  4. Vitalie "Save-" Melnic

  5. Illias "Kingslayer" Ganeev

The current Virtus.pro team formed late in 2020 after wanting to play together for a long time. The team quickly became a household name after performing extremely well in events against teams like Team Secret, OG, and Team Nigma. The Virtus.pro team was a force to be reckoned with in the regional leagues of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021, but it failed to match that performance in the two LAN Majors. However, the sheer talent of these players led many analysts to consider them as a top contender at TI10. However, the team lost to Team Spirit in the lower bracket, finishing 5th-6th. Team Spirit eventually won The International 10 (TI10).

After TI10 concluded on 17th Oct 2021, there have been numerous rumors floating that talk about the future of various Dota 2 teams not only in Eastern Europe but across all six regions.

As for Virtus.pro, it has been reported that DM may leave in the near future and more changes can be expected.

In addition, fans of the team have speculated on a recent change in Nightfall's hero choices in Dota 2 matchmaking. The carry player has primarily been playing in the offlane on one of his smurfs. Mars, Earthshaker, Slardar, Magnus, and more are among the offlane heroes that he has played in the past two days as per Dota 2 Pro Tracker.

With the next season of the DPC (DPC 2021-2022) set to reportedly begin on 29th Nov 2021, there is not much time left for Virtus.pro members to make changes. It would be ideal for teams to finalize their rosters as soon as possible to begin practicing.
