The fan pack of Pecado Squad Gaming, a Dota 2 team that was recently banned for life, was included in Valve’s latest Supporters Club bundle additions. The addition was a surprise, and many people commented about it on social media, but Valve pulled the plug on Pecado Squad Gaming's fan bundle within an hour, removing it from the game. Pecado Squad Gaming had competed in the NA DPC Lower Division this year before they were banned for life, along with Wind and Rain, after match-fixing investigations by Beyond the Summit. It is unknown how many players purchased this bundle while it was available in the Dota 2 client.

A total of 22 teams’ Supporters Club bundles were added to the game in a minor update by Valve on June 29, 2021. Pecado Squad Gaming Supporters Club only had the Bronze-tier bundle, which cost $2 USD. However, since it was seemingly an error by Valve, they promptly removed it from the list.

Pecado Squad Gaming had appealed against Valve’s lifetime bans. It has been over a month since then, but there has not been development on the matter, since. Wind and Rain, along with Pecado Squad Gaming, remain banned for life.

At this time, it is also unknown if any players who purchased this fan bundle have been refunded the two dollars. The bronze tier of the Supporters Clubs provides only a team badge that players can plant on the ground during games, showing their support.

Other Issues With Recent Supporters Club Addition

In addition, other bizarre things also happened with the 22 new Supporters Club additions. One of Nemiga Gaming's Gold tier voice lines had a bug that caused the game to crash, forcing you to restart it. As of the time of writing this article, the voice line has been removed from the bundle to avoid this strange interaction.

Spider Pigzs, who competed in the DPC Lower Division and will now compete in the TI10 WEU qualifier, recently parted ways with the organization of Level Up. However, the team’s Supporters Club still features the Level Up logo on a loading screen. Leonardo "RdO" Fernandes, who left the team recently, was the only Brazilian player, but Spider Pigzs’ bundle still has the Brazilian flag logo.

Teams like Nemiga Gaming, Team Mystery, Fantastic Five, and a couple more have had their Supporters Club introduced now when they are already out of DPC 2021. Due to their failure to win the TI10 qualifier in their region, these teams will no longer be seen playing in the DPC until the next season. The version of these Supporters Clubs will last until the start of The International.
