He noted that he tends to watch Arteezy’s and EternaLEnVy’s livestreams due to their creative thinking and playstyle.
He also gave his reason for his tendency to type in all-chat during a match.

The International 2021 (TI10) champion and BetBoom Team’s newest support player, Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek recently talked about many things including his favorite carry players to watch and learn from during an interview with the local media. During the off-season, TORONTOTOKYO left Team Spirit following a two-year stint with the team which also saw him winning a Major and TI championship under his belt of achievements.

However, TORONTOTOKYO found a new home for the upcoming season as he joined the new BetBoom Team’s super-stacked roster as a position five support instead of his natural midlane.

TORONTOTOKYO describes his favorite players

According to, BetBoom Team’s support player, Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek recently did an interview where he talked about a lot of things. However, he also revealed his favorite Dota 2 carry players during the interview.

The TI10 started off by saying that his favorite carry players are Shopify Rebellion’s Artour "Arteezy" Babaev & retired legendary carry turned full-time livestreamer Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao. However, when asked about his reasons behind his choices TORONTOTOKYO noted that their livestreams has a lot of impact on his playstyle at the beginning of his career.

“For me, it's probably Arteezy and EternaLEnVy. They were the first players who were among the first [of many] to start streaming a lot [on Twitch]. I also started streaming a lot because of them as it gave me a leap in level of knowledge, because before I was just playing and not watching other players, but then there were live streaming broadcasts and they showed me how they played [on the big stage].”

Additionally, he also noted that players can learn a thing or two from watching high-ranked players on Twitch in addition to dedicating a lot of time playing the game.

“Oddly enough, you need to play more, watch other professional players play, and think with your head. This is for people who have a good rating. Some non-obvious advice: watch your health and play sports.”

Finally, he ended the conversation by explaining the reason behind his infamous “all-chatting” behavior in certain matches during a tournament. However, he also noted that he only does it when it is appropriate to do so.

“I think that's interesting for the viewers. I did it to stir up interest in the match. But everything has to be right: do not call each other names, respect each other.”
