OB.Neon will be playing in tournaments using TNC Predator's position four player, Timothy John "Tims" Randrup, as their stand-in. At the present, OB.Neon is competing in the PNXBET Invitationals Southeast Asia Season 2, the BIX Invitationals Summer. In an announcement via social media, the Filipino team thanked TNC Predator for lending them Tims and also revealed that captain, Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong, would be the carry. Tims will, however, continue to play his traditional support role, partnering with OB.Neon's Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla, who will play as the position five.

Tims will play as the stand-in support for OB.Neon

Tims is likely to replace John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas since skem will serve as the carry in all these tournaments, despite OB.Neon not providing any specific information regarding this change.

So, OB.Neon’s likely roster with Tims’ addition will likely be as follows;

  1. Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong

  2. Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer

  3. Michael Roi "Enryu" Ladines

  4. Timothy John "Tims" Randrup

  5. Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla

Tims is slated for quite a bit of Dota 2 action with OB.Neon's three upcoming tournaments in the near future. OB.Neon will begin their journey in the PNXBET Invitationals Southeast Asia Season 2 and the BIX Invitationals Summer later today, on 14th July, 2021.

Also, OB.Neon will be competing in the LPL Pro Dota 2 Winter Invitational, which starts on 15th July, 2021. This means the team and Tims will likely have three Dota 2 series to play every day.

Teams like Execration, Team SMG, Motivate.Trust Gaming, and Team D will also be competing in most of these tournaments.

At the time of writing this article, OB.Neon has not disclosed the reason for Tims' call to stand in, nor has the team disclosed the time that Tims will be playing for them.

Both OB.Neon and TNC Predator failed to qualify for The International 10 (TI10) recently. A successful first Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season for OB.Neon was followed by an equally successful second season for TNC Predator. However, neither team managed to accumulate enough points for a direct invitation to TI10. TNC Predator and OB.Neon then faced off against other SEA teams in the TI10 SEA qualifiers but Fnatic took the final spot at TI10 from the SEA region by outlasting all others.
