A majority of Universe's fame comes from his time as a member of Evil Geniuses from 2013 to 2016 when the team won several events and finished in the top three in others. The most notable era was The International 5 (TI5), where Universe, Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling, Peter "ppd" Dager, and Clinton "Fear" Loomis were crowned Dota 2 world champions and took home $6,634,661 USD in prize money.

Universe provided a historic contribution during the TI5 grand finals by delivering a spectacular five-man Echo Slam - also called the $6 Million Dollar Echo Slam, against CDEC Gaming in the fourth game of the series.

Having left Evil Geniuses at the start of 2016, the NA offlaner went on to work for teams like Team Secret and Fnatic. Another stint with Evil Geniuses took place from mid-2016 to late 2017. However, Universe last competed for Ninjas in Pyjamas during the 2019-20 competitive season before leaving Dota 2 to conclude his nearly decade long career in the game.

Now a year long after the NA legend announced his retirement, he has tied the knot with his partner in what seems to be a beautiful ceremony. A big congrats to the newly married couple!
