Nigma Galaxy Announces Return of SumaiL
On 20th December, Nigma Galaxy announced the release of four players from its roster, signaling a complete roster overhaul. It was an emotional day for Nigma Galaxy fans as they had to witness the departure of Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov and also Maroun "GH" Merhej going inactive. However, Nigma Galaxy has uplifted the spirits of its fans as it treated them to a stellar signing. A day later, on 21st December, Nigma Galaxy officially announced the return of SumaiL.
During SumaiL’s previous run with Nigma Galaxy, the Dota 2 roster won DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division II 2022, and secured a 5th-6th standing at the Riyadh Masters 2022. Following the disappointing run at the DreamLeague Season 19, he was loaned to Team Aster for the rest of the competitive season in 2023.
He eventually left Nigma Galaxy last month. Although he didn’t find much success with the team during his previous iteration it will be interesting to watch if this time is any different.
As of now only SumaiL and Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi are confirmed to be in the active roster of Nigma Galaxy. The team still lacks a carry, offlaner, and position four support. While three spots remain open, fans and enthusiasts will keep a keen eye for further developments from the organization.
Some fans have been speculating that Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi, who has been on the inactive roster since last December due to health issues, might make a comeback as Nigma Galaxy’s new carry. This speculation arises from Miracle’s recent activities in-game where he has been practicing carry heroes.
SumaiL made a name for himself when he won The International 2015 with Evil Geniuses. He is widely regarded as “The King '' for his highly talented skills as a mid-laner. SumaiL sued Evil Geniuses as he took the organization to court for breach of contract. The lawsuit has since gone to trial.
