Roster changes are occurring at a rapid rate in the Dota 2 competitive landscape. Southeast Asia (SEA) appears to be at the forefront of these changes as Talon has now added Thai offlane player Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong to its Dota 2 roster just hours after he parted ways with Fnatic. In a post on Twitter, Talon revealed that Jabz would be its new offlaner. The 24 year old takes the place of Damien "kpii" Sau-jing who recently departed from the organization along with Brizio "Hyde" Budiana. There are now four players on Talon's roster following the roster move.

Jabs joins Talon soon after his departure from Fnatic

“We would like to welcome Jabz to the Talon DotA 2 family ahead of the 2023 DotA Pro Circuit,” Talon wrote in a tweet.

Now, Talon's roster for Dota 2 consists of these players:

  1. Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon

  2. Rafli "Mikoto" Rahman

  3. Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong

  4. TBD

  5. Worawit "Q" Mekchai

Jabs joins Talon and leaves Fnatic after years of service. Since joining in September 2018, the player was a key member alongside Djardel "DJ" Mampusti. Jabz parted ways with Fnatic briefly in 2020, but he returned to the organization shortly afterward.

During his time with Fnatic, Jabz demonstrated his versatility by playing positions one, three, four, and five. During the past year, he even held the role of captain. Jabz continued to be whatever the organisation required of him and while Fnatic was unable to remedy its pattern of failing to achieve amazing results in international tournaments, it did well in SEA competitions, notably demonstrating a spell of dominance in the middle of 2020.

TI11, however, was a disappointment for both Fnatic and Talon. Talon finished 17th-18th after being eliminated during the group stage, while Fnatic finished 13th-16th after getting eliminated in the first round of the lower bracket.

Now, Talon has likely chosen Jabz to be its new captain. Furthermore, he is great friends with 23savage, and now that the team has three Thai players (with Mikoto being the only exception), it is possible that Talon may just make an all-Thai roster soon.

Nonetheless, there are still so many changes expected to take place over the next two months that it is difficult to predict how each of these top teams' final rosters will look. In order to keep up with Dota 2 roster changes around the world, visit AFK Gaming's post TI11 roster shuffle tracker.
