T1 Will Play At the ESL One Fall 2021: Bootcamp Edition

,T1, one of The International 10 (TI10)'s representatives from Southeast Asia (SEA) will compete at ESL One Fall 2021. As per ESL’s announcement, the first groups of direct invites to TI10 are teams from Europe (EU), Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Southeast Asia, and South America (SA). In addition to the title "#ESLOne Fall: Bootcamp Edition", the organizer of the event tweeted that many of the teams attending will be bootcamping for TI10. A total of 12 teams are scheduled to compete for a prize pool of $400,000 USD at the ESL One Fall 2021. This event runs from 21st to 28th Aug 2021.

T1 and other TI10 teams will compete at the ESL One Fall 2021: Bootcamp Edition

ESL informed that the teams qualified for TI10 will have one last chance to practice their strategies at the upcoming ESL One Fall 2021 event.

Five teams have been invited directly thus far, and they are listed below:

1. Alliance (EU)

2. Team Liquid (EU)

3. Team Spirit (CIS)

4. T1 (SEA)

5. Thunder Predator (SA)

Only Team Liquid failed to earn a spot at TI10 out of these five teams. Additionally, as the event will likely be held on European and CIS servers, Thunder Predator and T1 will be expected to travel to the region for their bootcamps.

ESL One Fall 2021 will invite a total of 10 teams, so five more will receive a direct invitation. In addition to these 10 teams, two teams from the closed and the open qualifiers will be included.

Format of the ESL One Fall 2021

Group Stage

• Two single round robin groups of six teams each

• All series are BO3s

• The top two teams in each group proceed to the upper bracket of the playoffs

• The third and fourth place teams in each group proceed to the lower bracket of the playoffs

• The bottom two teams in each group are eliminated

Playoffs

• Double elimination bracket

• All series except for grand finals are BO3

• BO5 grand finals

The two rounds of the open qualifier will be held on 7th and 8th Aug 2021. The closed qualifier will then be played from 9th to 11th August.

Prize Pool Distribution of the ESL One Fall 2021

All 12 teams will receive a portion of the total prize pool.

• 1st - $175,000

• 2nd - $85,000

• 3rd - $45,000

• 4th - $25,000

• 5th-6th - $15,000

• 7th-8th - $10,000

• 9th-10th - $5,000

• 11th-12th - $5,000
