Lee "SunBhie" Jeong-jae has been officially announced as the newest coach for Talon Esports for the upcoming season.
SunBhie coached Fnatic for 3 years and following his contract’s expiration he moved to Talon with Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong.
Following the announcement, Talon Esport has officially completed its lineup for the 2022/2023 Dota Pro Circuit season.

Southeast Asia (SEA) continues to headline the roster shuffle season as Lee "SunBhie" Jeong-jae has been officially announced as the newest head coach for Talon Esports. SunBhie started his coaching career at TNC Predator in 2016, before being picked up by Team Secret in late 2017.

After spending 2 years with the European organization, Sunbhie decided to take his talents back to Southeast Asia as he was announced as the head coach for Fnatic. While the team was able to gain marginal success in 2022, the team’s disappointing run at The International 2022 (TI11) meant that it was time for SunBhie to move on.

SunBhie follows Jabz in joining Talon Esports

“Of course, the team wouldn't be complete without a coach. Let's warmly welcome @SunBhieDota as he joins the Talon family as our new coach!” Talon wrote in its announcement tweet.

Talon was among the first few teams to publicly announce its roster for the upcoming season and with its recent announcement this is the complete roster of Talon Esports for the 2022/2023 Dota Pro Circuit season:

  1. Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon

  2. Rafli "Mikoto" Rahman

  3. Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong

  4. Worawit "Q" Mekchai

  5. Chan "Oli" Chon Kien

  6. Lee "SunBhie" Jeong-jae (team coach)

SunBhie will be taking over from Andrii "ALWAYSWANNAFLY" Bondarenko, who was previously coaching the team during the TI11 SEA Regional Qualifiers and TI11 Group Stages. However, following the team’s early exit from TI11 ALWAYSWANNAFLY was released from the organization as the head coach.

SunBhie was recently released from Fnatic along with Jabz and Marc "Raven" Fausto following the expiration of their respective contracts with the organization. While Jabz immediately found his new home in Talon Esports, SunBhie decided to take his time to think about his next destination and then ultimately followed Jabz to his new team.

While SunBhie only recently joined the team, he is not a stranger to the region as he had coached their rivals, Fnatic for the past three years. Additionally, he knows both Jabz and Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon from their time together in Fnatic. This means that it will be easier for SunBhie to explain his ideas to the rest of the team.

Talon will be looking to dethrone the likes of BOOM Esports & Fnatic in the upcoming season as the kings of the region. However, there are still many changes yet to be announced and it is very difficult to predict how each of the top teams’ final roster will look at the end of the month.
