In the highly competitive The International 10 (TI10) Western Europe (WEU) qualifier, OG's newest recruit in the carry role, Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, spoke about the "scariest" team of the competition. SumaiL considers Team Nigma to be the most dangerous team in the qualifier considering they always bring their best game around TI. However, if Team Liquid has a good attitude and is relaxed, he believes that they are stronger than Team Nigma. Additionally, since TI10 WEU qualifier is being held online, SumaiL thinks that any team can walk in and defeat stronger opponents.

SumaiL talks about the toughest teams in TI10 WEU qualifier

The cut-throat TI10 WEU qualifier is currently underway, with teams vying for the last TI10 spot from the region. SumaiL sat down with Secretlab ahead of OG's first series against Vikin.gg in the upper bracket and shared his thoughts on a number of topics in a video posted on the team’s YouTube channel.

SumaiL named the scariest team in the qualifier in one of the more interesting topics he talked about.

“I think Nigma is by far the scariest, I would say. Just because it is TI and they always show up at TI. And then Liquid is, I think they are super strong depending on how they are thinking, like outside the game. If they are relaxed, I think they are stronger than Nigma, I would say. But yeah, just the mentality wise, Nigma is by far the strongest.”

In the last year of online Dota 2, we have seen a number of underdog teams pull off major upsets. SumaiL points out this possibility stating that the teams are unpredictable and can come in strong in the qualifier as well.

“I think more or less it’s online so it’s hard to differentiate what teams are good and what teams are not. Everybody is somewhat like - you never know who’s gonna take a game off you or a series off you.”

In SumaiL's opinion, online Dota 2 does not bring out the best in him, however. Despite this, he is very motivated to participate in the TI10 WEU qualifier.

It is not the NA player's first time playing with OG. SumaiL spent six months with the two-time TI champions in 2020, but as stated by members of the squad in various interviews, the pandemic prevented them from functioning properly, and hence, the two parties parted ways.

MidOne and ana were SumaiL's replacements for the carry role in the last year, but they parted ways as well for separate reasons. Now OG is back with SumaiL, targeting the lone remaining TI10 slot from the region.

OG is playing from a bootcamp in Denmark and they will be delighted to have all players together for this important TI qualifier. At the time of writing, they are tied at 1-1 in their first series of the upper bracket against Vikin.gg.
