Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau has announced his comeback to competitive Dota 2 after a brief hiatus, aiming to join a European team as a midlaner.
Stormstormer achieved a significant milestone during the break by reaching 12,000 MMR on 13 April 2024.
Following this announcement by Stormstormer, fans expressed enthusiasm and suggested top-tier teams like MOUZ and Team Secret as potential organizations that could benefit by signing him.

Former Entity player and midlaner, Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that he intends to play Dota 2 professionally once again and is now looking for a team preferably in the European region.

He has been long known for his impressive midlane skills and strong command over certain heroes like Invoker which always makes him a delight to watch.

Stormstormer last played professionally as part of Entity and was moved to its inactive roster on 6th November 2023. Following which, he played as a stand-in for nouns in multiple qualifiers and BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai.

He parted ways with Entity on 24th February 2024 and took a short break from competitive Dota 2.


Stormstormer All Set to Return to Professional Dota 2 Scene

Invoker maestro, Stormstormer recently announced that he is ready to play Dota 2 professionally again after taking a short break. Stormstormer last played for nouns at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and has not been seen competing since.

According to his tweet, Stormstormer had taken a short break from competitive Dota 2 and managed to secure the 12,000 MMR milestone on 13th April 2024. 


He also mentioned that he was looking for a European team and was willing to play as a solo midlaner. Further emphasizing his enthusiasm to play Dota 2 professionally once again, Stormstormer wrote, “Ready to show again what I've got.

Some of Stormstormer’s fans and followers were ecstatic to see his return to the professional scene and suggested that he would fit perfectly into the rosters of Dota 2 teams like MOUZ and Team Secret. 

One such user wrote, “MOUZ call this man. Don't wanna be that guy but SS [Stormstormer] > Supreme all day any day,” while another wrote, “Team Secret get him.”


MOUZ recently re-entered the Dota 2 esports scene and is still in the process of developing a solid team moving forward. Currently, the midlane for the team is commanded by Ondřej "Supream^" Štarha, who is on trial at this point in time. 

Stormstormer may find a new home with MOUZ if the organization decides to go with the seasoned midlaner, who has a similar hero pool to Supream^ and may be a good fit for the side.
